Downsizing Tire for Winter

So I traded in my old 2005 mazda 3 to the dealer for a new Sport GX, I have a set of winter tires from the 2005 that I am wondering if I can use on my new one.

The old ones are 195/65/15 and I believe the stock on the 2011 is 205/50/16. Is it just a matter of buying 15" steel rims, or is there more to it I need to consider?

Check the brake size, 15" wheels might not fit.
