Downpipe

Looking to get a Downpipe unsure which one to get / what one is worth the money, How loud the car gets (hand) any advice would help thanks

CS, CPE, ATP, get whatever is the cheapest you can find.... the ebay/M2 dp is your choice to use... catless, the car is pretty loud when you get on WOT... idle is not too bad....

you got a DP installed and if so what one? and is it catless?

yes is have thee CS shorty and a turboxs race pipe, with a CP-e 3" single catback

Dud you have any trouble with the CS shorty mating to the Turbo xs race pipe. Or issues with the wastegate

ya you can, you just need a step down adapater, or the right gasket. I think some people just reused the stock gastket from the second cat.

Dud you have any trouble with the CS shorty mating to the Turbo xs race pipe. Or issues with the wastegate

i though yes at first, but the huge donut gasket the dp comes with mashes into the txs and no leaks.... it is kind of scary at first because of the initial gap

i run the cpe catted. and frankly i dont think it made the exhaust any louder at all. it changed the sound slightly but thats about it.
i'm actually disappointed with this. the pipe works great and i enjoy the gains. but the stock mufflers really choke off the sound. bigtime.
the stock exhaust sound is terrible. i dont want it louder or anything. just less crappy sounding.
also i had to use a few extra gaskets between the dp and stock exhuast to get it to stop leaking. a little trial and error but its solid now.
install is not so bad. getting out the stock pipe was a pain though. an extra set of hands in neccasary. there's no way i could have done it with out help. cause i tried. some one has to pull on the motor while someone pulls on the pipe.

i am looking into buying the corksport downpipe today....wanted to know if i will get a check engine light and wanted to know how to avoid it to pass inspection in the future.....i am running the 3 inch test pipe so hopefully it will all fit with no problems. thanks

You should have no problems with our downpipe mating to the SU test pipe you have. The DP includes an O2 spacer to keep the cel off.
