Someone said if your system is a non-Bose one, you probably will not have AC problem when replacing it with an aftermarket unit. I like to upgrade my '12 CX-9 GT non-Bose to a Kenwood double din head unit so I can add a backup camera. Can anyone confirm there won't be a problem or have anyone installed one to their non-Bose CX9 (2011 or 2012) without that problem?

Hi. I'm trying to do the same thing on my 2012 sport, except with an Alpine unit I found on crutch field. Did you have any luck with your project?

Hi,
I have 2012 CX-9 Touring with non-NAVI factory stereo.
I replaced the stereo with Panasonic double-DIN and installed it using the PAC RP4 harness.
Everything works fine, no problem with the A/C.
I installed it in April 2013 and I don't have any problem until now.

I purchased the PAC RP4 harness in amazon.

Do you happen to have pics of this installed?
