The dimensions are 24mmH X 178mmW X 110mmD, which works out to .095 in H X 7.01 in W X 4.3 in D.
It is installed where the CD pocket would have gone in the Scosche kit. The CD pocket was thrown away, but the EQ is too wide to fit into the space as the EQ is about the same width as a HU. My installer used a small pneumatic grinder and took about 1/8"-1/4" off both sides of the opening. The flange on the EQ will hide those cuts after its installed. Then after sliding the EQ in, he used some black foam tape under and below the EQ to hide a small gap. To secure the EQ he also used that black silicone liquid around the plastic clips and back of the install kit holding the EQ in from the inside and after it dried was solid as a rock. So it wasnt really hard, but definitely a custom install. Glad I did it though as it looks cool, no empty pocket and I get a knob sub-level control to adjust without having to press buttons to change the sub level. Im sure that many of the fancier HU can do everything this inexpensive EQ can do, but you still got the empty pocket. Hope this helps.
