does anyone know how to take off the grill?

good news a-spec, i have successfully removed the grill.

it was a b****, to put it lightly!

it took me like an hour, but now that i know where all the snaps and such are, it will be easier if i ever have to do it again.

Armed only with my determination to remove the grill and front emblem and derrick1623's info, I set out to conquer. I came, I saw, I swore, I took apart the airbox, I swore again, I conquered. And I took pics. Going back to finish up the job, will post pics soonly.

I could be crazy... but about removing the emblem... isnt the grill made in the shape of the emblem so that it can hold it on?? (if you understood that sentence) on the mp3 anyway... if you take the logo off... there will just be an ungly piece of plastic in the shape of an M where the logo once stuck to the grill

(i think this quote was Acoup's) the bottom grill should just pop off... on the mp3 you just gotta pull... but like i said in an earlier post... dont wanna be responsible but it should just pull off

yeah but i put my emblem on after i made a mold of it (which failed )

!warning! do not just pull on the bottom grill! I just broke mine hehe. luckly its only 27$ but there not those kind of clips where you just pull! you have to reach back there and squize them.

OK, I finally figured out the entire grille. I got it all off and painted them both chrome. It looks awsome and ill post pics later if i can get them up. If you need help just PM me and ill let you know how to do everything.

The easiest way to remove the front grille is with Neons. Just drive around, minding your own business and eventually, one of them will turn into you and POW! your front end will no longer be attached. That was how I did it anyway, but you might like to try one of the other ways first

YES!!!!!i finally got teh upper grille. But now i'm having a problem with teh bottom grille. Could somebody help me, i have a 02 P5. When i look from underneath the car (from the sides) i see teh clip things, but the scewdriver doesn't fit !!! Do i have to remove the bumper or something. And if i get the grille out, do i need to remove teh license plate thing??

You might have to take off the licence plate thing, mine wasnt on when I took off my grill so idk. You just have to pry real hard to get those clips, they are a bitsh but you can get them. I could be wrong, but I think there are 4. 2 on each side.
