It looks ok when it is straight and not peeling. LOL... You can get that sticker from the dealership for free if you feel left with 06, 07 and 08 MS3's. So much for the 2 year production runs...

haha you know im glad now that i have an pre-jan 08 model... i like my trim better, the piano black doesnt do it for me.. the glossy look is ugly IMO i like my weird textured carbon grey looking trim.

I have this on my 09. I thought it looked maybe, possibly a little crooked, but I chalked it up to me viewing it at an angle. Now I need to go look at it straight on & see if it really is crooked. How cheap of them to use a sticker instead of molding the logo into the piano black trim piece! (I happen to love the piano black, myself)

i hate to tell you, but it was not the sticker. the car is out of alignment!!

ZOMG I knew it. Ever since I took the sticker off, my car pulls hard to the left. Also, I dynoed my car and lost 17 whp.

not to mention void your warrantee

Glad I don't have the piano black trim in my '07.

It was a b**** to keep clean in my 04 RX-8 and now in my 07 MX-5

The piano black isn't really that hard to keep clean, I just keep a microfiber rag in the glove so I have something to do while I wait for the people I race to get to the finish.
Plus it keeps away the bad energy troll.

WOW, its not even that crooked. It actually seems very popular, i've seen a bunch a threads with people trying to find them. And ya they started coming on 08.5's, and i like the looks of mine.

it looks much better if you peel off the protective plactic that covers it.

You can peel that off and leave the red letters? I think I will do this. I really don't mind the sticker, but I hate the way that protective cover looks.

On my sticker, you couldn't just peel it off and leave the letters, unless you just carved the letters out.

mine has this sticker...and the sticker came with a clear plastic film over it that peeled off and looked better when i pulled that crap off.

My sticker came with a corner already peeling up on my 08.5 and it drives me nuts, but I like the sticker. The film comes right off, I think it was better quality than the sticker lol.

Are you talking about the slightly sticky film they put on the car from the factory? Like what you get on a new cell phone screen? Or the accually slight outline around the letters? The factory film is supposed to come off, but if i could get the outline around the letters off, but leave just the letters, I'm down

No, it's just the clear piece of plastic that covers the whole sticker to protect it. The red and black is all on one sticker. I took mine off within an hour of purchasing my ms3

The film came off a week after having, my gf noticed it lol. The sticker itself was already pealed up in the corner.
