3DO, the developer, fired everyone last week and declared bankruptcy. There is a good chance someone like EA or Activision will pick it up for publishing, being that its practically finished. It will likely be sold to a publisher as an asset in the bankruptcy proceedings.

I would watch Need For Speed: Underground if you're looking for that sort of thing, The Fast and the Furious game is pretty early but should make an appearance this year at the holidays, as well as a sequel to Sega GT on xbox and a sequel to Burnout.

Lets not forget; Gran Turismo 4. For right now, Midnight Club 2 is the game to have, and Auto Modellista isn't bad either - once you get used to the controls.

if burnout added about 80 real-life cars and had a 'tuner' option it would be one of the best. the crashes areamazing and something id like to see in all racing games. then you would have to use race earnings to 'fix' your damage.............

also, that sucks about srs, the game was looking sweet (except for the stupid girlfriend thig). real cars, tuning, street racing, awesome graphics.......................i hope someone picks it up and publishes it.

I got colin mcrae rally3 for Father's Day, and it kicks ass. spend the whole time drifting Also cool when you clip a tree and smash the tailight out, and the brake light doesnt work til the next service area. It is a shame in the Championship you can't choose what car to race, the Subaru is heavy and hard to steer, but the evo 7 rocks. later

it will get released its being heavley advertized in mags. and online it comes out august 31st its ready now but they have to make us wait hope my mp5 will be on it.
if not maby whel get lucky and get to dl it online or soem thing.
ne ways thats all i know , iam give it a few plays and c if i really wanna spend 50 bucks on it. ]

if you don't mind poking your way through the game without knowing the whole story, pick up a copy of the Intial D racing game for PS2. it's only in japanese though.

Burnout 2 is awesome! The crashes are indeed absolutely incredible. There's even a 'crash mode' where your goal is to rack up the most $$$ in damages as you possibly can! lol

Burnout 2 is awsome! Just the idea of having to cause havok on the PCH, or the highway in the middle of no where is years of enjoyment! It actually gets pretty hard when you need to start making massive crashes.
