Sir Nuke, in reference to the Schwinn bicycle question you posed. One was an orange crate, the color should be obvious and a friend has his origional Green Sting Ray but I cannot remember the name. I had an Orange Manta Ray, couldn't get the folks to spring for the Sting Ray.

(off topic, have you seen the new Schwinns that look like the custom chopper motorcycles, fat back tire with street motorcycle tread, stretched out and laid back? They are definately cool)

Cause someone asked earlier... 3Dfx was bought out by nVidia. I still had a Voodoo3 card in my system at the time. Glide was just absorbed into the information they have now and pretty much everything is based on Direct3D now.

Remember when CD-RW drives first came out, between 200 and 300 dollars? And there was no burn protection so if you did ANYTHING it messed up the CD? And the fastest you could burn was 2x and it took anywhere fro 45 minutes to an hour and a half to burn a full CD? Haha, I had one of those.

And remember when a 14.4 modem was considered fast?

Remember back when Pokemon came to the US and a lot of people said it was a dumb fad and wouldn't last?

Remember the Tamagotchi?

How about when Super Soakers first came out and they were 50 dollars or more, and EVERY kid had to have one?

Here's another modem one..

Anyone remember "shotgun technology" (or so it was called)? What you needed was two modems and two phone lines. You first dialed into one modem so you could connect, and then dialed into the other modem, effectively doubling your speed. Only problem was, well.. It took two modems and two phone lines!

Havn't seen the new chopper ones....but I bet they are cool, I will search for one on thn net now.

as for the Krate bikes...they were

Green - Lime Peeler
Orange - Orange Krate
White - Cotton Picker
Yellow - Lemon Peeler <- this is the one I had
Red - Cherry Picker and Apple Krate
Purple - Grape Krate
