I recently completed a transaction with member h0rsies in the for sale section for a tial external wastegate. It was sold for $300.

This member made the payment using his bank account through paypal, but did not have sufficient funds in his account and so the payment was reversed.

Unfortunately I shipped the item out before the transaction had fully completed with his bank and now I am out $300.

Beware of doing business with this fella.

If h0rsies decides to either return the item he could not afford, or to pay me the amount he owes me then I will let everyone know that he is a standup guy.

Otherwise, protect yourself and learn from my mistakes and do not do business with him.

His name is Philip Kim, so if he switches his username and makes a payment to you, be careful.

Yeah, that's one of the addresses I have for him.

He said he used his dads credit card to buy the EWG... I understand what it's like to be a broke-ass college kid... so either he can pay me or ship me the wastegate back and be a stand up guy, no hard feelings and I'll even buy him a beer (when he turns 21) or he can try and weasel out of paying me the money he owes me and deal with the consequences of being a thief.

BTW, here's a screengrab of what paypal is showing me... took paypal 2 effing weeks to realize he didn't have the cash for this thing... not even close to enough time to give me warning not to ship it.

The payment "went through" which is why the status is "reversal" and not "payment incomplete"

It does not take 2 weeks to process a payment. EVER.

I shipped the EWG and the UPS tracking number was 1z7A068R0353014099

Point is, whether I should have waited or not, I'm out a $300 item and someone got an EWG for free... so don't bother selling to him unless you want to waste your time.

This may have happened because he apparantly did not use HIS credit card, and must have tried to use some sort of fraud protection. I shipped to his address at Penn State and not his home address. Again, my mistake for not demanding he have a verified paypal address.

I have contacted the seller and paypal and bank account. There was an issue with the bank and paypal and in 1 to 3 buisness days the negative balance will be cleared. This was NOTTT my fault and the seller and I are working this problem out. So dont hate on me haha

fyi Ive been buying off forums for 2 years now and never had any problems. he only reason this happened is because somebody had my credit card info and was using my account giving me a negative balance. But now all is cleared and my money will be returned shortly

jerk it wasnt my fault in any way that somebody else fraudulently used my bank account. I spent over 2 hours making phone calls today filing claims and getting everything resolved. I even tried making another paypal to put the check card on it, but paypal wont let you use a card for more than 1 account, so I will have to wait 1 to 3 buisness days until my account is cleared. I am no scammer by any means and did all that I could to solve this situation asap
