Do factory (uncut) bumpstops affect ride height?
The reason why I'm asking is cause the specified 1.8" lowering springs I installed don't sit any lower than the 1.4" H&R's I took out.
Could my Tokico's be limited going lower because of the bumpstops?

doubt it, maybe they have to settle, i installed springs on my buddys saturn and it was the exact same ride height as stock in the back, next day it looked slammed lol
if thats not it then check the bump stops, i doubt thats it though

If it was sittin on the bumpstops all the time keeping it from sitting any lower then I would think it would ride like complete s*** because it basically wouldn't have any travel. Cut them same amount that you lowered the car or just get the msp ones that are already shorter.

took me bout a week for my drop to settle in.
and i cut the bumpstops in half when i did the install using Factory bumpstops.
you could always just order the Mazdaspeed Protege bumpstops.
works great

Well usually you don't have too... but you need to cut them if the springs you put in are too low for the strut to handle so by cutting the bumpstops your giving more suspension travel so your strut doesn't blow in 2 days with super low springs
