DMH Electric exhaust cutout

I'm thinking of getting this done to the Speed3. I quite like the stock sound of the muffler. My last car was obnoxiously loud so I like a quieter tone. But I wouldn't mind just opening her up every once in a while, especially if some STis are feeling playful. So I was thinking of going with this.

A local exhaust shop who does FANTASTIC work is offering this for around $300 installed. Basically $150 for the cut out and $150 for the install. They run the wire up through the fire wall and let you mount the switch wherever. Also comes with a four year warranty. What do you guys think? Also, while I don't see it being a problem, do you think I'll have Mazda warranty troubles?

i originally ordered one for my car, but cancelled the order after 3 weeks of backordered goodness on the 3" kit.

Yeah, the good thing is that these are in stock. I'm thinking of skipping an intake first and just going to this.

its very nice installing this after first cat it definetly give you gains and nice sound if you will se cops or something just hit the swich and you are quiet as s***

Ive heard good and bad things about cutouts. Mostly bad though, were the complaint is they tend to leak.

Yeah, I was pretty much talked out of it by many people. I don't think I'm going to do it, atleast not yet.
