Disable Daytime Running Lights

Here is how to disable the daytime running lights if you want to. If you think this idea is dumb, that is your opinion. This is not the place to discuss that. Some countries require DRLs.

There is a method on this board for how to do this for a CX-5. Since the two are pretty similar, I tried it on my 3 i Touring, and it worked. The process is tedious and I had to do it three or four times before it worked.

You can just pull the fuse to disable the DRL, much quicker.

If that works, much quicker. Most of these things, with all the damned computers don't take kindly to that kind of action....I like your solution!
 
Do you guys know how to do the opposite?
How can I enable DRL?
My Axela has the fuse and the fuse map says DRL but the infotainement has no function for it. It does have HIDs and the led thing that goes around the projector.
