I've had this dent that has been bothering me for some time. Not wanting to even bother going to a body shop to have it checked, I thought I would check if Walgreens had something I saw on tv (they always carry that kind of stuff). There it was, the Ding King. You know, the contraption with that anoying guy on tv that also sold the orange cleaner and Oxyclean. $19.99 + tax and I was out the door.

It comes with a few glue sticks, a glue gun, some alcohol cleaner for both pre-cleaning and removing the glue and of course, the dent puller with 2 different size attachments. Oh yeah and a glue scraper and plastic stick to push it down if you go too far.

Now I had a pretty sizeable dent of around 1 1/2" - 2". It pulled it out nicely. Not perfect, but it is not even close to what it used to be. I used it either 3 or 4 times to get it where it is (manual says it may take up to 10 times). Total time, about a half hour.

I bought it figuring I wouldn't be out of much money if it didn't work. Luckily, it did a pretty good job. Like I said, I can still see some warping and it may never be perfect, but I'm pretty happy for the time and money I put into it.

The instuctions were very vague, but the product seems well put together and works. I felt I needed to share this with you folks on my good find. Hopefully, this will save some of you some dough as it did me.

Thanks,
Sam

I saved up my allowance and sold some of my pokemon cards to get enough for it!

I know this guy who did me and JDMSam's dents on our cars. He accually was sent to Cali for 6 months to learn how to do professional paintless dent repair. I must say after seeing how much money he makes, I may consider this as a fallback career. $3,000 in one week!

Yeah, I have a ding king. It does work. It's not pro quality, but it does a decent job.

I've tried using it on the 2 dings on my doors, but was totally unsuccessfull after 7 tries on each ding. Perhaps it only works on non-curved surfaces? Were your dings on the roof or hood, or on a more sloped surface?

My friend's ding was on a curved fender surface...right on the "corner" of the fender. Use a lot of glue.

I will have to try this, i got about 4 or 5 dents from big accorns at my old school. It happened within the first month i had my car.

They hit hard enough to set my alarm off.

Actually mine was at the upper part of the rear door, where it has the most extreme curve on it. Like I said, it isn't perfect, but looks much better than it did.
