Dims when its still bright etc

Love my car - but 2 problems

1) the car goes into DIM dash and nav display when its still pretty bright out, so its hard to see (like heavy cloud cover will do it)

any way to adjust?


2) once in a while it will not come out of dim mode (like exiting a tunnel into bright daylight)

Just hit the button next to the tac w/ the picture of the bulb on it.
