Difference between Part # 00008ER13 and 00008ER07A? CX-5 Trailer harness

Anyone know the difference between Part Number: 00008ER13 & Part Number: 00008ER07A ?

The Mazda site says CX-5 Trailer Hitch Harness for both and they seem identical except for the $13 price difference.

I don't know about these part numbers, but for my 2018 I found that the Canadian version was completely different and worked perfectly on my US car.

The Canadian did not require any cutting or piercing any wire insulation. I think it just involved adding a pin to one of the connectors by sliding it in and the rest was connector to connector. It also did not require running a wire to the engine compartment for power.

Overall much better.

Presumably. I took a leap that the Canadian would be plug and play with my US 2018 and it was. I don't know why they gave the Canadians such a better one and didn't offer it in the US.

Their floor mat option is way better too.

I've searched eBay CA and other sites, plus a few US dealers.
Nowhere can I find the PN 00CT-88-C57H

Any suggestions?

It's labeled PN 0000-8E-R04

PN 0000-8E-R04 must refer to only the "black box" and its wires; the PDF Installation Instructions clearly says PN 0000-88-C57H

I ordered mine in 2018 from them. Perhaps what they have now is an updated version. When I ordered it was labled as for 2017-2018 on the website. They had it listed only in conjuction with the hitch. I emailed to ask if I could buy the harness separately and they updated their website to make that option available.
