Has anyone installed these yet? I really like the way they look and was curious as to the install. Thanks for any info!

my friend installed these on his civic but no word of any P5s...they were simple bolt ons...take out te screws, place the piece, and put the screws back in...

I see, thanks for the info. I've got a couple of other questions if anybody would care to answer.

1. What front end difference is there between the MP3 and the Protege 5?

2. Will the engine cover from an MP3 work on the Protege 5?

Thanks again for all the help/info!

Since my car is lowered and I already need to exercise caution with driveways and parking stops, this might add more potential scraping problems for my car.

Fit? Well sorta.. The MP3 cam cover has studs that the plastic cover attaches with. The P5, etc does not. Some mild rework would have to be done to make it work, but it would not be out of the realm of most car enthusiasts.

First things first, don't bother with those things, for $189.00 dollars US, they are a total waste. You would be better off with the full length one from the MP3. Ihave it and is alot better looking, and for $90.00 bucks it's a steal, and it's a Mazda part.

Second, as far as the engine cover, you could buy the engine cover and cylinder head cover from a dealership. It should only be about $200.00 dollars.

Third, the only difference between an MP3's bumper and a P5's is the small turn signals in the sides of the bumper that the MP3 doesn't have becuase it has different headlights, not a different shape or size, just a different lighting setup.

Could you show some pictures of the front of your red P5? I'm really liking the little carbon things that I posted above, but I'm always open to something different.
