DGM Spoiler Extension

The back of this car is so light that I thought a better wing would help keep the back down. Under hard braking it feels like the back wants to come around or over. My Mazdaspeed coilovers has helped with this issue. I just wondered if a wing extension would also help.

Mazdaspeed CAI, Mazdaspeed CBE, Mazdaspeed coilovers, TWM short shifter and bushings, SU rear engine mount, Hotchkins RS, Cobb shifter weight, Cobb turbo intake, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, Motul RBF600 brake fluid, Hawk plus pads (track only), RE-01's (track only), Dashhawk, Fuel-Filler door.

dude do you type your mod list every single time you post?

OnebigTymer11, do you see a difference in the amount of water/dirt that gets blown on the hatch at freeway speeds with it? It looks like it would really have an effect on air management on the back of the car.

sooo i just went ahead and used some 3m double sided tape. Believe me its on there too. Held it on there for like 30 seconds, and i was able to rock the car back and forth! so i think it will do for now!

damn it..i have the same spoiler lip in cf. i shoul've just double sided taped mine as well then cover the holes on the lip with some screw plugs from home depot. (hand)(hand)(hand) got so excited when i got it so i ended up drilling mad holes on my spoiler then used the rivets.

From what ive alwas heard and read is that hatchback cars already have a downforce advantage over say a sport sedan or coupe cause of the longer roof-no trunk. But who knows(dunno)

could be. still has nothing to do w the spoiler extension. a rear diffuser to prevent lift, added weight again for lift or stability, and maybe a spoiler thats tested in an aero chamber would be of use. way to much for this ride. id rather spend my money on a 2010 ls9 camaro. i pee everytime i see it.

yeah just making a point with the spoiler itself..as for the "extension"..buy it for looks not performance..I just dont personaly think in real world driving that little piece of material is gonna make a difference...As for the Ls9 Camaro..yeah that car is pure sex...But I looked at my bank account today and looks like Im not buying 1 anytime soon.

Hows the tape holding mr mazda? I mean obviously its doing ok..its still on your car..But what about for us who might go 100+ mph now and then..think its safe? I dont go over 100..speed limit is like 65-70..so yeah ;)

150+mph tested already. And its been on the whole winter here so far. Tape FTW.

the rivets are half black and silver, the silver part is the part that breaks off! Water and dirt definitely does seem to collect on my bumper. And the extension is still on there!

sure why not! that them right there need sinage too? i know the mods are finicky!
