Well just thought I would share what I found out about some new DGM products. Many of you have seen the pics of the DG PRO5 from sema. Well I emailed them about the fender flares and the misc. interior components. and this is what he wrote back.

Hello Brandon:
Thank you for your kind words about DGM products!
Yes - we do sell the fender flares - it's part of the "wide body kit" - not yet on the website, but you can get the kit (side skirts & fender flares) in all carbon for $795, or in fiberglass for $495.
The interior pieces are available as well - the 5 piece dash kit is
available for $395, and the door sills are $129.95/pr, or $229.95 for a set of 4. Also, the carbon cage is available for $795.
Call Amie any time at 760-433-7413 to order! I will have them available to order online in a few days.

Man am I excited now. I have been wanting to do a carbon fiber wide body on this car since before I saw their car from Sema. Plus I love the carbon fiber interior parts. Forgot to ask them about the Carbon fiber grille but will email them again for that. Hope you guys enjoy. Maybe with my tax refund I will have one of the first few widebody p5's.

Did you happen to ask about wheel well covers and the like? Do the fender flares just mount over the existing ones? If so, how does that give you any more room? (I just can't picture it)

Ummm not sure I understand what you are asking. Wheel well covers. Just my opinion but that is a pretty weird place to be putting carbon fiber. I am assuming it is for the 4 piece fender flares as seen on the DG P5 and the side skirts to tie into those. i know the side skirts are direct replacement for stock as I used to have a set but sold them. as for the fender flares they just mount right on top of the existing fenders and I beleive they wrap around the bottom and are attached in the wheel wells. ( was this what you were talking about?) Not really sure if they are designed to give you more room, not that it would be that big of a deal for me because I am only going 17". A set of spacers may be needed though to get the right look. Hope that helps.

Is that on your car dialup? If so, how much of an increase in width did you see? On the DGM car, they are showing wide tires. Will there be suspension travel problems with rubbing?

i am on a personal jihad against DG Motorsports. they suck. they don't know s*** about customer service and i doubt they will have any of the things you mentioned ready to ship. good luck to anyone who is unlucky enough to deal with these folks.

boO ::thumbs down:: ::crowd cheers in like on the simpsons:: boOoO.. all bad.. but hey.. personal prefrence is personal prefrence.. maybe it would look good on a black car.. but not silver.. or maybe if u painted them.. i donno.. that just looks like u store sum focus parts and pop rivited them onto the car.. no offense.. just my oppinion.

I think it would look better color matched but the real problem is that it should be blended in with the body more. A wide body kit to me should almost be whole new body panels so it blends better. These are barely fender flares and side skirts.

I dunno, I think the sideskirts are dope, the "widebodyflares" I'm not so sure about. It would probably look better with them painted the same color.

Wow, Seeing that picture really makes me think about the kit again. I have to agree I don't like the way it looks on that silver P5 and am now questioning how it would look on my car. I do like the side skirts as like I said before I used to own a pair. Hmmmm man now I am confused. I mean the kit just looks so out of place on that car. Maybe it's just a bad pic or does anyone know if they changed the kit from what it was on the yellow car at sema. I liked the way the kit looked on that car. Oh well will just have to wait and see. I am definately going to do some of their interior parts and front lip. Hey does anyone have anymore pictures of the kit. Dialup where is that picture from??? Is that your car.

i thought cf looks good on our cars.
that car with cf looks like just not right....
never mind cf, unless it's front lip or valve cover~~~ :p

How does adding the fender flares widen the amount of space a tire would have (assuming the original fender lip is still in the same place).

As far as the whell well covers, I meant the piece of plastic that separates the tire from the engine bay.
