Here is what I have in mind for the site:

Forum
Email addresses for members

I will register the domain dfwproteges.com (6.95) today.

I have the hosting covered, but I will accept donations if anyone wants to donate a couple of bucks.

If any of the ideas above are not needed/wanted just let me know.

Also, I have access to a very good embroidery shop that can do shirts/hats/whatever...

ctredway, your ideas are great. If you want me to make a design I can, I am about to head back to work for a little but when I come home I will have the time. I will talk to you on AIM or through PM's and we can set soemthing up. I know Victor was also talking about getting t-shirts.

Hey, I am dead tired tonight and I make bad websites when I dont have the energy to be creative.. I will work out a design before this weeks end.

ctredway, hook me up with the ftp and password whenever and I can start uploading basic templates and you guys can pick something. I will be more creative than I was on my site (salvaging the crossover site for my own) lol

Hehe....that's the jpg that I exported from my Signmaking software...It's a tweaked version of the Haettenschweiler font (slanted and squished

)

If you guys come up with a new logo, I should be able cut it out....True Type fonts are a snap....a JPG will need alot of cleanup.

What format would be the easiest to import? My designs will start out in Photoshop, but I have also expirimented making fontsets...

Signprogram can import vector based files and clip art (ie adobe illustrator and EPS files)....unfortunately I don't have much experience with those. We usually just use fonts our customer's want that can be downloaded off the internet. If they have custom logos, we usually have to use the autotrace feature (like the magic wand in photoshop) and then do a lot of cleanup after that.

It was a quick 5 minute job but I think its pretty cool that it uses the Mazda font. I wouldnt mind a decal like that on the side window

I would understand if you dont like it, I was trying to keep it somewhat simple.

Ahmad....Logo looks cool....
Can you send me the font that you used?

I will try to match it up in my sign software and see if I can cut the logos.

We normally charge car clubs $5 for two side window stickers. Hope everyone is OK with that.
