Well, I came, I conqured, I wiped up in the novice class for my first autox. I won by almost 4 seconds. I placed first in the Novice GS class, and I think I came in second in the regular GS class. I havent gotten the official results yet. I'll post them when I get them. I met a guy there that showed me around, he was also running in the NGS class. He had a VW GTI. I kicked his a$$. He was amazed whe he saw my final run. My first run was 87.???, my second was 86.???, and my third was 84.048. I screwed my 4th by missing a gate. The guy with the GTI told me before I started that you never really know your car until you participat in one of these. He was completely right. I now have a feel for the car that you wouldn't believe. I know exactly when it is about to get into under steer, I know how to control the yaw moment of the car, I know how to get the tail end around fast (which is very hard to do on a FWD without using the E brake). There were about 4 Integra GSR's out there. I tried to talk to one of theguys with one but he was a dick. So I just handed his ass to him. They were pissed at the times I was getting and I was eating it up. I went right after one guy with a GSR and he had some wicked looking Kuhmo tires and I beat him by 5 seconds. When I pulled up beside him to park after the run, he and his friend looked at my car with a look of disgust on their faces. It was great.
