detector wiretap into homelink auto dimming mirror need help please

I need help locating the 12v wire (switched ) and ground on my homelink auto dimming mirror wire harness. i'm installing a wire tap for my detector and i don't have the money to pay a installer. or have a voltmeter handy.

I have an aftermarket one installed and a dashcam to it.
I'm about to install, an Escort Redline with Smartcord.
What are the colors of the wires, that should help you.

That's what i'm asking what are the colors of the wires i need to install the mirror tap.

Somebody else has to help you, because my mirror is an aftermarket Gentex mirror. It may have different setup.

Run to an auto part store and buy a cheap voltmeter for a few bucks. You should never hook up wires without testing them.

Wire colors are not always a good indicator as they can change in the vehicle depending on the build date and manufacturing plant.
