So you don't think that the building is at fault, for piling snow up in the direct path of the garage. A garage that is steep and comes from out of the ground?

I think it was stupid of them to do it. Just like putting a pole 2 1/2 feet tall in the middle of a parking lot in my case.

The point is, if you cannot see, get out and make sure. It could be a little kid next time. You are in charge of the vehicle and you are responsible for its safe operation not your apartment people and the minimum wage goons cleaning the snow off your driveways...

Because you did not get out instead of going head blind you got a dent.

I know how you feel as I felt it when I did that to my trucks bumper. But it till was my responsibility to INSURE IT WAS clear before I backed up that last 6 feet and I trusted my view from my cab which masked the pole which was below my line of site below the tailgate.
