Which do you think would look better on a laser blue p5?

ok so I think I've finally decided on a set of wheels that I really like. Exel DL-46's, 17x7. Does anyone know the weight of these things? They're not listed on the site and so far my inquiry has not been answered. If anyone knows, please let me know!

Also, I'm having trouble deciding between the silver w/polished lip, or the hyperblack w/polished lip. Gunmetal and black w/polished lip are out of the question for me. I have a laser blue p5. Could someone perhaps photoshop one or both of the linked blue p5 pics (found these on the forums) with the hyperblack color?

Any thoughts/opinions/etc would be greatly appreciated. I'm not too concerned with offset, as I can see it's been done on at least p5's, but if you know the offset, that'd be cool too. Pics of them installed are below.

Thanks in advance!

I used to have these rims (18X7.5). They fit OK with just a hair of rubbing in the back if you don't roll the fenders. They come in a +45 offset where the optimal offset is +48...hence the slight rubbing. They are pretty damn heavy, but they look really nice. I had the gunmetal w/ polished lip on my car. I finally got tired of bending them due to the low profile tires ad now I run exclusively on 15 inch rims.

ok thanks for the info. I'm looking at the 17x7's, so a 45 offset should be ok for me. Only downside is the weight, though I'd imagine 18x7.5 would add a few pounds compared to the 17x7.

Thanks! Any pictures of them installed by any chance?

Neither. save your money and buy a quality wheel

(mswerd)

exel is not a strong quality wheel, like most knockoffs of knockoffs of knockoffs. if you hit a good sized pothole, those things will bend like aluminum foil.

imo, i dont think they are nice. i dont like rivets on wheels and the styling is nothing great.

btw, i thought you didnt like black/gunmetal or 5-spokes?

ok... what makes you think this is bad quality?

Only WheelMax carries them, that should be one turn-off. They are weak 5th generation knock-offs. If you get them the only good thing is that you could buy 2 sets for the price of one good set, so replacing wheels when they bend is easy! I'd really stay away from them if you want something that will last.

unless your car is green get hyper black

then paint it like that kid did his valve cover lol
