DEATH.... 56k not friendly but worth the wait

Ghost, sorry againbro. Absolutly sucks ass about this. I would gather that they did not dust for prints cause 1. they assume there are none, and 2. it is a very costly investment to dust prints.

When my car was broken into after a Steelers game last year (Day after Xmas and had some presents left in the car) The police DID dust for prints, but that was because 30 other cars werwe broken into that day, and the place were I parked has had numerous break ins during steelers games and fronted the bill for prints.

Turned out to be an inside job.

"They went out of their way to gouge the sides of every piston, and the turbo was separated from the housing and shoved right up the tail pipe."

Sorry to see something like that happen to such a nice looking car.

ghost, I'm really suprised they didn't dust for prints. I can't see how that would be a "costly" job. A little time consuming, but costly? If I were you, I'd find a way to get a better investigation underway. Either by talking to a police chief or by informing your insurance company of the goings on. The insurance company would probably be pretty pissed considering this is the seventh occurence and little action is being taken. Remember that your essentially employing both the police and insurance company. Demand some action and a resolution. Good luck and keep us informed.

Damn dude that sucks I'd be super pissed if that happened with my car.

I hope, totally hope that you find the people that did that. Thats just ****** up s***, and someone needs to be dealt with...and not by the authorities.

I'd care if it wasn't a Rivic, or if it didn't have a carbon hood.

I just hate Civics.

WoW, Maxda owners can be just as be an ass as the SRT guys. Grow up man. This guys car was stolen. I wonder how you would feel if we posted something like this if your precious FC were stolen.

Well I'd hate it, but if you hated FCs then you could post it all you wanted. Also that guy lives far away from me, why should I care about his car? Especially when Civics are doomed to ricer eternity, Civic owners complain about their cars being called ricery, then hypocriticaly go out and buy a CF hood and a body kit then ask why people say it's a ricer.

Sorry for your loss, It hurts to see another EK hatch end up like this. I had the same thing happen to me. I was lucky to find it the next day tho. These guys knew what they were doing. They stripped that b**** clean. Here are some pics in rememberance (cheers)

What if it was a gen2 RX-7, would you think differently? Regardless of the car, nobody deserves this.

I know, you're right, it sucks. It could be a huge Super-ricer double parked across a parking space I wanted and I wouldn't even key it. I don't think anybody deserves it and it sucks, I feel bad for him, I just hate Civics. Always have. Ok so I guess I wasn't right to post "I would care if...." but having the steryotipical ricer car, with the steryotipical ricer mods (spoiler was ok) is bound to piss people off and I gotta say it is asking for vandilization. A simple key maybe , this is harsh. I'd never do anyhting like that. Ok everyone happy now?
