Dealer installed Sirius w/ Auxmod

I have a 07 speed 6 with the bose system. I have the dealer installed sirius module. I am interested in installing an AUXMOD in addition. Has anyone been successful at this? I would assume I would use the media button to play whatever is plugged into the aux mod.

I have Sirius and the AuxMod on mine, no issues. Just push Media and play you're MP3s (or whatever).

One more thing, RadioShack sells solderless connectors for the minipin plugs (or standard ones if you want to solder them). That means you can run your cable from the AudMod without a jack on one end, then simply add on the jack when you've finished running the cable. It makes the install much cleaner since you're just routing a thin cable through the plastic (or if you cut holes, much smaller ones).

I routed mine up through the center console, and didn't have to cut/hack at anything in the car. They even have a hole for you in the top tray. (silly)

Yea.. That was where I was planning on running it to since there is power already in there. That is a good idea to install the connector once I run it. Thanks for the tip!
