So i got my dashhawk used off another member and its worked great for the 5 months ive had it but on wednesday when i changed my spark plugs it stopped working. I unhooked the negative from the battery, installed injectors and installed some HID's. After that i hooked back up the battery and it says

Missing Data
Pid4812

Then when you go up or down it goes on a list 4813 4815 exc..

Ive tried plugging it in to my comp but it doesn't seem to like vista 64 or osx, has anyone else had this problem before?

what sort of injectors did you install?? Did yours go bad?

As far as that...honestly sometimes it just freaks out. Try unplugging it....turning the car on and connecting again. If not try 'resetting' the dashhawk if you can in the setup menu or whatever. Worst case (i have done this before) if you reflash the latest firmware on your computer it will work fine again (other than you have to add your customizations again).

but more importantly... injectors??

a lot of folks have an issue with vista - i run vista 32 and don't have an issue - but when you launch the file to install the software - you must do it as an admin. and every time you run the program, again you must do it as an admin.

I've tried that. I tried running it in compatibility mode i was working with it for awhile and was on the DH froums before i just decided to load xp lol. The software will run fine it just wont connect the dashhawk it will always be be disconnected. So now i have a 10gb partition with xp just for dashhawk lol.

i have this issue where once i connect it and use it to transfer the info and anything with the software - if i then unplug it - it won't see it again unless i restart or actually go into the control panel and disable/enable the usb ports - you are using 64 also which may be even more different - to tell the truth i have vista on the home pc but really use it more on my laptop cuz it's still xp and it just has less issues with xp

I get this too, when I plug it into the car after being unplugged for a while. It runns thru a ton of missing data codes, cycles thru them a few times, then goes away. Happened when I plugged it in the first time, and then after plugging it in for the first time after being on TDY and the car was parked at the airport for a week twice.
