Dash Trim Kit For P5

I tried to learn how to install my new radio myself....

And i scratched the hell out of dash doing so.
It looks really ugly and i want to do something about this.

Should i goto the dealer and get the center console, the plastic piece that surrounds the radio and pay they rip off price ....

Or should i just get a Dash Trim kit from somewhere to cover up my mistakes.... plus it will make it look a little cooler i suppose....

If so i forget what the web site was for the Dash Trim Kits and the people on ebay no longer sell them like that.

Does anyone know the link ?

Bite the bullet and pay the man. I love the factory look!! I have yet to see a dash look good after paint.

do a little sand and use 400 grit to get a smooth finsh and paint it to match the color of ur car the use clear coat

Yeah those pics are like 6 months old. I've gotten DaveB rings since then and the cf pieces around the shifter.

I'm upset with Mitch. I ordered some engine mounts a couple weeks ago. He said they'd ship last week. I still haven't gotten them. I e-mailed him and received no reply....:mad:

u have to understand mitch is very busy right now and his customer service has been nohting but excellent in the past, i believe he is moving homes right now as well running 2 other online businesses.

I know he will get back to you as soon as he can, i got my stickers from hi 3 days after ordering, the mounts may take longer since they wont fit in an envelope =P

you could sand it down and repaint it. . .i went to the extreme with that and wetsanded it all the way down with p800 wetsandpaper. .. .. . . but it came out great. . .heh. . . i had to do mine for my lcd install

Yep it's silver carbon fiber. It's different that's why I got it. I only know of one other pro5 that has silver carbon fiber dash trim.
