got ticket again it was at night time i was driving along all of a sudden some car starts tailgating me and i sped up because i was having a bad day and was not goona take it from some rice dude to tail gate my ass so i sped up and that car tail me along like glue then all of a sudden lights dude the car that was tailgating me was the patrol i hate that men geesh!! he is saying why were you going fast? a@$hole god i hate the patrol he was following me because i'm asian and my car is asian god i hate them patrols

isn't that illegal? I would check the law to see cause I don't think they're allowed to tailgate you, make you speed up, and then ticket you. Were you going the speed limit before you sped up?

You cannot break the law and then try to enforce it. That's entrapment of sorts. Either way.. bring it to court and fight the s*** out of it.

Sorry to hear that, but I don't think speeding up is the right way of getting rid of tailgaters. They'll just stick with u all the way unless u're planning on doing excessive speeds for the rest of the journey. I mean if you're just going 10 above, I don't see why he can't follow, in fact, now u've become his "shield" against speed traps. And if you slow down later, he may catch up and stick with u again.

dude, i feel u man...same s*** happend to me but the thing is i wasnt really speeding...as i was turnin right at the street 3 houses before mine around 1 am, ****** patrol car pulled me over sayin that i was speeding n s***, he told me that i was speeding on a certain street but the thing is i wasnt even on the street that he said i was speeding at...didnt even checked my licence n registration then told me to get out of the car n ****** frisked me close to a cavity check in the rain for like an hour asking me questions that isnt related to speeding...there is more to this story but long story short, both donut boys juz wanted to search my car for drugs/weapons coz they thought i was suspicious n s***, juz bcoz im a bald asian driving in the rain at 1 am...i felt violated by this mofos!!!

Solutions to tailgating:

1. Change lanes.
2. If you can't change lanes (2-lane road), slow down to 5-10 MPH under the speed limit. Laugh at the frustration of the driver behind you. If you are in such a hurry, you should have left sooner, asshat.
3. Adjust your windshield washer nozzles so that one jet on each washer points over your car (obviously, do this beforehand). Mercilessly spray the offending vehicle with your mix of water and "Bugz Juice".

no one made him speed up... cops can tailgate for the specific reason of reading the license plate and running it thru the system for vehicle status. When the dude hit the gas, the cop was like WTF and ticketed him. Legal.
