Damn speed limiter

Ah...I see, now. Thanks, B!

Back to your regularly scheduled topic.

130 is plenty fast...I don't feel like going faster...or well...that fast on a public road, again. I wouldn't mind it in a time trial, though.

Many people still feel this is a drag issue, but without CFDs to back it up, I couldn't ell you for sure. Theoretically, if you were drag limited you would ht top speed and just not be able to go faster; you shouldn't be yanked back down a few MPH and be able to accelerate. Of course...that's theory.

Drag is the main factor on stock Protege/5s...Once the horse power barrier is broken (not sure what that hp number is exactly) you'll get up to the top speed of the gearing.

The MSP, apparently, is another story.

I hit 132 five more times and it sent me into a wall. Don't think the fuel cut would hit at exactly the same time, five times in a row. I have the runs on video but I don't have the software yet to post it. The car is drag limited-but not at 132, the car has a fuel cut-but not at 132, the car needs a 6th gear-but not at 132........ the only reasonable cause is it is electronicaly governed. If i'm wrong someone tell me. And 132 isn't fast enough when you've been 155 in a 300ZX. The need for speed continues.

Yashooa, turn your A/C on and accelerate from 2000rpm in 4th gear and let me know if you hear any detonation. I get plenty of detonation at 8psi with the A/C on.

I don't understand why some get detonation at 8PSI and others can go higher than 10 and not get it.
I do run 93 octane and I will do what you asked.
So far after thousands of miles at 12PSI pre flash and 2000 or so miles post flash 12PSI for a totall of 19560 miles I have not encountered any noticeable problems at all. Heck I even get 36 MPG when I drive slow during the week.
However, I have been driving fast every now and then during the morning 42 mile commute. All pre 6:30 am driving in the cool of the morn.

And Stutters your MP3 sig looks great.

Chuyler1 did it...But the pic is from Look Out Mountain Road outside denver.

If you look close enough, you can see downtown Denver buildings in the background...way in the background right in the second hump of the "M".
