damn retread, it's dangerous.

driving upstate last weekend and I ran over a huge piece of retread.

I didn't think it would be an issue but it f'ed up the front of my car big time.

The lower plastic grill got smashed to s***.

there's some damage to the colored bump.
AND the undercarriage thing that is bolted to the bump got riped up.


So now I'm faced with what to do.

The undercarriage looks easy to replace/install. not sure if it's important though.

I'm not gonna replace the bumper for the little amount of damage. TOO expensive.

But I really want to replace the lower grill. It looks pretty bad right now and it looks like it could snap in.

I'd rather NOT go to the dealer for that. it's not covered under the warranty and it'll cost a small fortune for something cosmetic.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Just fix up the paint...don't worry about the undercarige.
