D2 Coilovers Just Added

These will be stiffer than msp and eibach from the ** Spring Buyer's Guide **
msp 145/117.5ib
eibach 147-183/91-131ib

These that he has are 336/280ib....he got 6kg in the front, they come standard with 7kg/5kg or 392/280ib

What if you set it lightest on the damping?

Even if you set the dampening to the least possible setting, it will still be stiffer than a regular strut/spring combo. Most of the time, the least possible setting has a harsher ride than something in the middle, where it's more balanced.

Yea, but I'd just like to know if it's ALOT stiffer than Eibach. The reason I'm asking because I've ridden in Bilstein PSS9 with lightest setting, I personally think the ride comfort is pretty close to my Eibach.

heck yea i plan to autox this...lol...i cannot wait to see what it can do. i am also planning on adding a complete T3/T4 turbo, hardpiping and intercooler upgrade within the next few weeks...by a company that i am helping to start...(more information to come, and upon pm request). cross your fingers for me on that one...lol...the plan is to have the car ready to show at HIN in Charlotte. but yes, i want my car built for autoX and show.

i do plan on having it at Battle of the Imports April 2 & 3, at Rockingham in NC...i won't be showing but my car will be with at the Urban Import booth for those who wanna come check out the suspension first hand...you can even talk to Mike Hinderliter who is the head US D2 distributor.

for those that are interested...that setup has a list price of around 1200...so, just below the cost of TEIN...this also comes with the shown camber plates at no additional cost...

in reality, i am sure that if more than one person bought these at once, he would be willing to cut a deal...it's just a matter of interest...

any more questions...let me know...PM is cool...

Why a t3/t4? Seems awfully big for a little 2.0. Are you planning to upgrade the rods?

in theory...the t3/t4 will be fine on the stock motor for a little while, but i do plan on a complete rebuildpistons, rods, cams, cam gears

the first steps however will be an ECU reflash, complete hardpiping, a larger intercooler and a greddy profec b. optimally, i want to purchase another FS engine, so that can be built in the down time. if that doesn't happen...then i might wait till fall to put in the t3/t4.

the piping, intercooler and boost controller, however, will be done in a few weeksat which point I will run around 9 pounds pretty safely but to my knowledge, there are a quite a few other MSPs running a similar setup on fairly low boost and aren't having any trouble.

have you heard any horror stories? if you have, let me know? i definitely dont want to repeat any mistakes that i dont have tolol

I wouldnt go to crazy on power until you get a good way to tune it and forged internals. Choices would be AEM(plug and play by MAM), haltech e6x, microtech, or mpi, these are a few. Our engine is good for 250 with good tunning, give or take.

Car looks good. If I didnt buy my illuminas and spool springs last summer I'd get these coilovers.

Horror stories, me? Nah I don't push my MSP, I'm only in the low 13's.

lol

I was just curious, maybe I missed it, but where exactly can I get these... and are you sure there's no cheaper way to get them:)? I just got my new Mazda3, and I'm ready to make it MY car, y'know, those little things you do to it to make it yours. Buddy of mine who works on cars alot told me to look for coilovers on the internet, and I found this site as one of my first searches on Google. So, if anyone can hook me up... :-D alright, enough gabbin' from me

Zoom Zoom baby, love my new mazda...
