CX-90 Wireless charger overheats

Using an iPhone 12, the phone gets very hot in a short time. The wireless charger has overheated a few times in 3000 miles. The charger also seems to start and stop charging continuously. I e-mailed Mazda USA and they said take it to the dealer. Items for a dealer visit are piling up.

On my '22 CX5, the wireless charger prefers one orientation over the other.
i.e. camera to the driver side.
See if that applies to your CX90.

The reason why it start and stop is because of the I-stop feature. I was also told to bring it to the dealer but this is a software issue and im sure they couldn't do anything to fix it besides inform the one in charge of the istop feature from interfering with the wireless charger. I have posted this awhile back on another location.
