CX-90 Floor Mat and Sunshade recommendations?

Hi everyone,

We recently purchased a 2025 CX-90. I have been reviewing the forum to understand people's opinions on floor mats and windshield covers.

We have used both Husky and WeatherTech floor mats in the past. I also see that TuxMat seems to be popular. Is there a clear favorite for the CX-90?

How about sunshades? We currently have a Covercraft in another vehicle, but I see that Coverking is also popular. Does anybody have a recommendation?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you

I posted about the set of Anbingo mats I purchased over a year ago here. They’ve held up very well. And they have notdiscolored. Other all weather mats, including WeatherTech, that I have purchased over the years, they eventually start to fade or stain. These clean up really well and still look new.

What have you gone with, I have the same questions as you did.

We purchased a Covercraft sunshade and TuxMat floor mats.

The TuxMat's are definitely different than Huskey's and WeatherTechs. They are a little more flexible/less rigid than the other two which is good in some areas, but means that clips and retainers have to be used to keep them in place along the sides.

Although we have WeatherTech because of the cachet it carries with my wife (so TV ads work, and it’s her car) I have found in past cars I like Husky because the have much better dead pedal coverage. WT only covers half the dead pedal and a lot of debris dals behind the WT mats.

As far as sunshades we like the plain Jane silver roll up Mylar shades from Introtech. We have two, one from 2019 and 2021 so I cannot speak to current designs. We liked them better than Heatshields because the strap was sewn in. Heatshielsd were glued and on really hot days, the glue softened and the strap moved leaving hard to remove glue on the inside glass.

Only experience with Covercraft was 20 years ago and the fold up design did not last. The cardboard substrate started bending and collapsing after a few years and the folds started cracking, plus it was much heavier than Introtech/ Heatshield which is probably why it started sagging
