i want to do something like this...but i need a damn system first (rofl)
matt its a waste of a turbo... what you need to do big dawg is do suspension and rollcage. make something that looks good jsut as functional. nothing but strut and ladder bars

well, ive been talking to people, we'll see what happens...in other words, ive already thought about that (evil)

looking good, i'd use the carpet to cover your stock carped trunk pieces so it all matches and doesnt look mismatched

i am going to recarpet the whole trunk in the black soon, once i get everything built and together i am going to take it back apart, recarpet the sides of the trunk and paint my brain black with blue lettering and a few other things. this is just the initial build up to see how everything fits. plus when i go to the track i will just pull my subs out so it wont be a waste of my turbo!

I am confused where are the subs going to go? I would like to do this but I want the sub to be in the floor and plexi over it, so I could still use the trunk for hauling a few things

hey joka, i began doin the exact same thing as you but then i gave up. how did you trace all the contours of the side and rear of the trunk onto the mdf? i see youve got a nice snug fit all the way around

PS: what thickness of mdf did you use?

subs are going to be in boxes on the sides....kinda hard to explain but by wednesday you will get the point. the way i traced out the contours was .... i just traces out the carpet that goes in the trunk normally.....
todays progress......
this is the wiring mess i started with this morning (dvd systems have wayy too many wires!!)
