OK I am lookin at Ideas for my exhaust piping...........
What would happen if i had replaced the piping from the header back to the muffler(minus the cat)? Would that effect my inspections, performance and would i have problems with the computer not reading correctly and flagging my warning lights????

the computer only accounts for the first cat, as long as that is there you should not have a check engine light, and you car will be loud as ****

you car will be loud as ****

Loud in a bad way? Or just like 'modified' loud?

What if i replaced the piping, and with a larger size? Say, 1/2 or so larger than the stock piping? Any downside? How would i attatch this new pipe? Do i have to take off the cat/etc. to install this?

depends what you consider bad. it will be much louder, and may drone at highway speeds.

a full exhaust will give you great gains, provided you don't go way too big for a N/A car. you will probably fail inspections depending on where you live, and without a cat will get a CEL.

I don't think alberta has any vehicle inspections right now. what are you planning? turbo? or why not just get an aftermarket system?

Ummm, no big plans really, jus wanting to get some more HP, and start moding little things for now. Probably muffler system, air intake, grounding kit. Know any good retailers Canada?
