Custom License plates?

I just ordered a custom license plate that reads "TEAMZOOM". Anyone else customize yours yet?

You can have 8 characters on your plates? I though the limit was 7 everywhere.

Thats really weird because I am looking at the custom plate broucher for my state and its 7(plus a space). Maybe thats just IL thoguht, thought all states were the same.

My state only allows six characters actually, and yes I customized my plates, they say, "L337", I plan on changing it soon, and if you don't know what that means, don't ask.

I have no clue either....So if Equinox doesnt want to show us the light...then maybe someone else out there that knows what it means can fill me in?

Its just one of those little, insignifigant things that will bug me until I figure out what it means/stands for...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep...sure did....and NO, not all states are the same...here in texas you are limited to six characters....you can have a space too..but only six numbers/letters......My Avatar....that IS my plate.

I didn't check Ohio laws in all detail, but they let me use 6 letters/numbers and a space. Mine reads UR N4IT
I'll probably change it in October when they expire, but it'll work for now.

Thanks for clearing that up...Never in a million years would I have figured that out....

That Licence Plate site was cool....Something all the official DMV's should use, that way we can instantly see whats available and how it would look!

Just an FYI, I know the Virginia DMV website you can do this. You can type what you want and it will tell you if it's taken or not. If it's not you can hold it or order it if you like! Actually pretty cool! I'm not sure if only Virginia DMV does it, but I can't see why other states wouldn't.
