Custom Center Console?

This maybe a stupid question with no answer, but I thought that I would give it a shot.

Does anyone know of a company that makes "replacement center consoles" for the P5? Or a generic application that I could mod to fit in the P5. I would like to find either an enitre replacement console or just a taller armrest piece. I realize that there are limitation due to the distance between the 2 front seats and the console seems to be apart of the shifter. Basically I am looking for something to give it more height so my right arm sits higher. I think its more comfortable. My 92 Camry had a tall console and it felt more like sitting in a cockpit.

I have been serching the internet to no avail.

Any ideas? or am I just crazy...

i highly highly doubt there is anyone that makes one..im sure you could fabricate the modifications you want using fiberglass though..

They make carbo figer replacement pieces for the entire interior...www.nopi.com...the armrest has a new cover but as far as i know there is no replacement for the entire arm rest console

fiberglass work for the center console would be very tedious and expensive, and custom (Prolly not mass produced)

the sales of the p5 aren't high enough for that kind of mod

i recall someone made an elbow rest extension. either here or protegeclub. give searching for it a shot.

perhaps that will be a more conservative (and fruitful) venture.
