while we're in this thread, i know a lot of people have polished thier valve cover..well my question is, how hard is it, and what do you have to do? I would like to start a project with this, being that my car is of course down, and will be for a while.

any opinions/thoughts, suggestions,how-to...thanks.

going out to get some silver hi temp paint for the block, intake mani and all the brackets....will look nice (better) soon!

As much as I admire what a lot of you guys have done... Considering the fact that no one (except the grease monkeys at jiffy lube) would ever see my engine bay, I'd rather put my time in elsewhere. I suppose if you're big into the car show scene it's a different story...

Not many shows for me. I just like to keep my car clean and free from as much corrosion as possible being that I live near the ocean and in the northeast. I figure it also increases resale value just a bit.

I've loved your car since the first day I joined this forum. Perfect blend of show and go IMHO. Everything clean, precise, well-planned, and well-executed. Well done my friend.

I'm curious about that HKS intake and how it performs. Haven't seen too many of them probably because it uses the stock piping but it's ~$130. Nice piece but kinda hard to justify for some. Looks great but does it perform well?

have u seen his interior?? SEX!!!

I've had the HKS intake, its just the filter, it was ok when I had it on, after I took that off and put on a different intake, I could hear more air moving through, For regular use, I dont think the HKS is worth the money.

Thanks for the compliment guys :]

As for the intake, I had an Injen CAI and I guess I was getting bored and wanted to change setups around. I can't say there is a huge difference between the two, but yah, $130 is kind of steep for just a filter. I was just surprised there was a specific application from HKS for our car. It comes with the largest filter and vehicle specific brackets made to support the intake.

Thanks again everyone :] very thoughtful.

Peace
