Doc Fee $80....I wish. All have been in the $299-699 range for me, and most I know, unless you live in Oregon. Lol. Now I am blessed with a $300 max state tax (SC).

I bought mine in NC and brought it home only to pay over $1600 in Tennessee sales tax. I knew that going in, it is the price you pay for not having a state income tax. Probably washes out in the end.
If you have a trade-in, you are only taxed for the difference.

At least the sales tax is voluntary, you don't have to pay it unless you purchase something.
 
I would exclude the sales tax on CX-5 pricing to ensure accurate pricing. Here in WA state there are some areas that charge nearly 10% for sales tax on vehicles. For those thinking we have a high sales tax rate... we do not have a state income tax.
