Cupholder solution

I found that the MiGo "Bell Traveler" stainless steel commuter mug fits into our short cupholders PERFECTLY. The contour sits well in the hole and the handle drops nicely into the little notch between the two round cup holes. It also has a rubber bottom so it doesn't slide at all even when the mug is empty.

It doesn't solve the problem for you Big Gulp fans, but for the morning coffee people like me it really works great.

As an added attraction, the stainless steel mug with the black rubber handle looks like it's part of the interior. Like a Custom travel mug! lol! Mazda should do some cross marketing.

You can find a retailer on the MiGo website

Yo... I must have the same size/style coffee mug from work... at any rate... the third week I had my car, I parked at a 7-11 and didn't set the p-brake right. It popped out of gear, rolled down a hill, went over a curb, into traffic, over another curb, and ended up lodged in a planter box. After getting the thing towed home (all of 1/4 mile), I was happy to note that although the commuter mug was full, not a drop of coffee left the cup during the little adventure.

BTW... cars fine... no body damge. $700 to the undercarraige... a couple of scrapes and two bent struts.
