Anyone using one of these? If so, please post a pic of your ride so I can tell better what it really looks like. These pics are straight from cp-e. Thanks.

I don't have the CP-E one, but I ordered the RHO one yesterday, and will be here by next week sometime. I will have pics soon as it comes in.

The TowPlate was also designed to accommodate the MazdaSPEED3 tow hook without having to remove it. A bolt in the center of the bracket is removable and the factory tow hook screws right in. This can be incredibly helpful for folks that regularly use the tow hook for strapping the car down at the dyno, or if the car needs to be towed in a pinch.

Interesting. When I was looking at a prototype a few weeks ago at the shop, Anthony said you would need to remove the front bumper cover to install this. I wonder if that's changed since.

hmm you should find that out go kain gooo!!!

RHO FTW!!!! I'm picking one up sometime soon...or when I feel like paying for it and get the little hole covers from mazda.

@ jam_asian85, thanks for the pics! That's exactly what I was looking for... I couldn't really tell how it would look from cp-e's site. This really helps. Must say I think it looks hella nice and I'll be getting either the cp-e or the RHO.

@ Kain, thanks for the heads-up on the possibility of having to remove the front bumper cover. That doesn't sound like fun.

And now for a potentially dum question:
My MS3's in the body shop still so I can't go look at the bumper, but do our cars have a removable tow hook cover. I presume they do but I don't remember seeing one (can't say I've looked to carefully yet either).

I'm gonna shoot a mail @ cp-e to check on that bumper cover removal question. I'll post when they reply.

I'd rather have no plate too. Law says I must and I don't want a ticket for something like that. Also, a center mount looks like it would block some flow to radiator. Anyone have an opinion on the significance of that?

Having taken off the front bumper once already, it's not hard. Just a bunch of screws/clips that follow the perimeter. Just takes a little time.

i dont think so, radiator is on right side when you look at front(driver side) so dont worry....

i'm and germany, and my car gets here next week. pretty sure i can benefit from this since we are made to place a plate on front. I REALLY REALLY dont want to drill two F***in holes in my front bumper. Getting one.
