Is this a MAF learning curve effect?

Well, today I drove on the freeway a bit than went to the grocery store, coming back I noticed that the engine would self rev a when I was in neutral and seemed to stutter a little bit at the light before that. Could that be the MAF learning? Could that be a leak or stuck factory BOV? Anyone have this happen to them with this intake yet?

Just so you guys know, I would highly recommend taking your filter off, measuring up one inch from the end of the billet MAF piping and only put your filter on that far. Most of you probably know this, but I am just letting you know. If you shove your filter on all the way up to the MAF, the air isint going to flow smooth and will be restricted.

Not ECU learning. Some kind of problem. Did you recheck the installation to make sure there are no leaks?

has anyone installed one on ms6 yet?

Was too short so I added a 45 and extended it out. IAT dropped a lot doing this.

My Cobb does the same thing, normally after consistant driving then shut off, when you restart the car it seems to drop idle, I think it has something to do with the cold start sensor, cuz after the initial drop in idle, afterwards no more issues with restarts. very strange, everything seem okay according to my DashHawk.

Hey guys quick questions for you? I have the forge bpv and the nano installed on my car and I love it, but I notice the other day when I filled up my car from empty that my gas went realy quick. I do the same type of driving as always and I usually get 250 miles before my gas light comes on. My last fill up after these mods my gas light came on at 210, I lost 40 miles and did the same type of driving. Anyone have any clues to why this is. I also hear a little burbling from the exhaust when idling. Thanks!

More air = need for more fuel. air to fuel ratio and such. But it shouldn't be that big of a difference I dont think...

Quik6 Nice install, where did you pick up that 45 degree pipe and silicone connector?

I was getting about 25-26mpg with the Injen CAI.
Stock again, and now I'm getting 23mpg or so.
It really helps being able to hear it. If you're light on the throttle, you can't hear air being sucked up and even when going that light I still found the car to accelerate at a reasonable pace.

I really want the CP-e. It looks so nice!

^ yeah, its hard to judge what an intake will do with MPG, given that it is way less restrictive, but demands a little more fuel.

Bought them from autozone. Spectre makes them.

Ray, take it easy with the gas pedal and you'll get your mileage back, try not to boost it all the time, keep your shifts under 4g and light throttle and you should be seeing much more fuel effiency.

Looking like Dec. for my nano, that bites. Can't wait to get this bad boy on there. By the time I get it I should have a rear mm to install at the same time if all goes well.
