CP-E exhaust or HKS exhaust

Dude... like I said... that IS what he said. He never claimed such a thing .Honestly, do I need to quote and emphasize it more? Seriously?

"throttle response WITH the COBB downpipe"

...I can go into the definitions of English if you need? I'm certainly no expert but there's not a whole lot to understand here. lol. Btw.. I'm not trying to be rude, just point out you misunderstood somehow.

Nor am I trying to be rude. We need to ask OP what he meant. OP: What did YOU mean?

My concern was not with the phrase you extracted, but with its full context. OP said: "it certainly made a difference in throttle response with the Cobb downpipe." What was he meaning by "it"?

That little word, to me was referring to the prior sentence, which was about the CBE. If he was saying that the CBE somehow added to what the downpipe was doing to throttle response, then that's where I part company.

My apologies if I got crossed up with you. That was not my intent. The sentence suggested that somehow the CBE was linked to an increase in throttle response, and I'm saying that cannot be. We seem to agree on that.

It's all good. I realize now that reads a lot more snarky than I meant it. I agree with you completely on the CBE btw. So if that's what he meant I apologize.

anyone like cp-e or is it just unanimous for hks? i'm actually planning to go for cp-e because i like the sti sound. can anyone confirm this? hks sounds too wild for me
