My concern was not with the phrase you extracted, but with its full context. OP said: "it certainly made a difference in throttle response with the Cobb downpipe." What was he meaning by "it"?
That little word, to me was referring to the prior sentence, which was about the CBE. If he was saying that the CBE somehow added to what the downpipe was doing to throttle response, then that's where I part company.
My apologies if I got crossed up with you. That was not my intent. The sentence suggested that somehow the CBE was linked to an increase in throttle response, and I'm saying that cannot be. We seem to agree on that.
