In case anyone in the area is looking I found a Cosmic Blue MS3 at Young Mazda in Easton today. Doesn't appear to be any mark-up as the sticker was just over $23k!!! Thought I would pass it along....oh yeah, only one I saw on their lot.

u wanna know why they still have it on their lot? cuz when i asked them if I could get on a waiting list for the ms3 they told me that the car wasn't acually going to be produced and that it was a myth made up on car forums like this... They told me I;d be better off buying a regular 3 than waiting for the ms3...

well sure enough 2 weeks later ms3 showed up on mazda website, I went to my dealer here in delaware and the rest is history

dont buy from Young...they f*cking suck

^^^WTF??? Maybe I should stop in today and offer to take the fictional car off their hands....lol What a shame that they are that stupid or misinformed. I stopped in to take a look at an MPV and had to stop and look the MS3 over.....absolutely beautiful in person.

I had a bad experience at Young also, but only with the service dept. (VW side), sales was fine.

LMAO..... hmmm, yeah it looks like they didnt produce it! heh...

funny thing is we now have a Cosmic Blue GT (due in about 2 weeks) and a True Red Sport (due in in january) that are now not spoken for (withdrew deposits). Other than that, ALL of our speeds have deposits on them all the way out until about may...

Im not sure what Young is doing.

I just went on their site and clicked Mazda Inventory.....well I found this on the 6th or 7th page http://www.youngcars.com/en_US/frm_index.chtml?noc=1&pageName=VehicleSearchResults_1&overrideUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fnitra.motorplace.com%2Fyoung-pa%2Fen_US%2FVehicleSearchResults.jsp%3FsiteId%3D97cf0c40f67f10038ec9080020f02f0d%26version%3Dlive%26page_type_layout%3DVehicleSearchResults_std%26pageName%3DVehicleSearchResults_1%26search%3Dnew%26minPrice%3D0%26trim%3D%26pageType%3DVehicleSearchResults%26make%3DMazda%26maxPrice%3D0%26rowsPerPage%3D25%26widget-catcher%3D%26maxYear%3DAny%26locale%3Den_US%26showImages%3Dundefined%26certified%3Dno%26minYear%3DAny%26miles%3D0%26body_type%3D%26model%3DAny%26location%3DAll Love the featured items...lol It is sandwiched between an 07 RX-8 and an 06 Mazda5 on the list....WTF kind of marketing is that? If I had anything to do with sales there I would want it front and center since the car is so hot right now!!

**edit**damn link takes you to their first inventory page....if you really want to find the MS3 you got to dig to the 6th or 7th page or you could do a search.

Haha yeah...
That's just the result of their ghetto search engine. But yeah, they really should place their speeds on their mazda homepage.

haha that really doesnt surprise me. The mazda sales manager there was a complete assclown, couldnt have cared less about what i wanted, just wanted to sell any car. The only saving grace is that their parts department is extremely knowledgeable. Anyways, I would never do business with them...if i had to chose between buying a speed3 there or not buying one at all, i would be in a different car right now.....

Who did you talk to in parts? I called sometime ago when I was swapping bulbs and found out I was missing one of the clips that locks the bulb in. The parts guy I talked to tried to tell me I needed a new socket (black piece that the bulb plugs into). After explaining and re-explaining several times what I was looking for and getting the same answer I hung up.

ha well i dont know his name, but I always just go in and talk to the younger guy behind the counter, when u call, u generally get put on with the parts manager, and yes, he is frustrating. I think he's a VW guy and doesnt know a whole lot about Mazdas

Well I was running early to pick my daughter up from dance class and thought I would stop in again to take a look, this time during working hours. Salesman walked up and we went through the usual song and dance. Then the shocker.

Salesman - Let's take a drive.
Me - Well I wouldn't be buying it, not practical as a family car.
Salesman - Come back anyway when you have more time for a test drive, doesn't mean you have to buy it.

Blew me away after hearing other stories of members having troubles getting a test drive. Then again, this one has been on their lot for at least a week and a half (that I know of).

BTW, anyone local that would be willing to teach me 'stick'? lol I never had a chance growing up to learn and damnit I would love to get behind the wheel of this machine!!!

Ha well Young being pushy to get the car sold does not surprise me, but hey, if theyre gonna let u take it for a ride, go out and learn stick soon before its sold! I would teach you when im at my parents house for christmas, but no offense, not on my car...hopefully u can find someone willing to let u beat down their clutch for a few hours

LMAO I was thinkin the same thing. I could teach you but it certainly wouldnt be on my car (turboed cars arent any fun to learn on anyway and will probably just frustrate you)

Im sure I could grab a used something to teach ya on.

Damn guys, no one is willing to let me learn on their speed? lol j/k I wouldn't want a beginner behind the wheel of mine either. I was thinking I could just go back up and not tell them I don't know and hope I don't burn up the clutch. (shocked) My sister-in-law has an older civic that I am sure she would let me learn on, it is just finding the time to learn.

well the way that i learned was by being forced to drive it when i was 16, i didnt have any other way to get around besides my dads stick-shift car (my car in shop) so i was forced to learn. So next time your car is in the shop, borrow her civic for a week or so and im willing to bet that by the end you'll have it figured out.

as for learning on the speeds, i dont think it would be easy at all, there are certainly much easier clutches to learn on out there (honda probly one of the easiest)
