Corrupted iPod Artwork after V31 Infotainment Update

Hi All

After getting my 3GT upgraded to v31 Infotainment firmware today all seemed well until I used my iPod. The Artwork comes up garbled or background only. This is with a 75% full 160Gb iPod Classic. (about 20,000 songs).

All other artwork from my phone, a memory stick etc seems to be fine - it's only the iPod and only since the upgrade. Has anyone else seen this and what on earth can I do about it?

Generally the upgrade (from v28 to v31) has many minor improvements and everything seems to work much more smoothly. The iPod in particular loads the menus such as songs and artists instantaneously and the sound seems to be much more consistent especially when the satnav and phone voices start chiming in.

The first day I got the car my artwork on my iphone5s would display using bluetooth connection. Now it does not display at all. Have you found any resolutions for your issue yet? tips?

Artwork from my android phone was and still is ok as is the artwork from any USB drives I've used. It is only the iPod which now has garbled artwork and that has only occurred since the upgrade to v31 software. Others seem to be experiencing the same effect. Anyway the car is in the dealers today so maybe Mazda will be able to sort it out. I'll keep you posted.

None of my artwork appears using an Android phone... I was thinking that this nav/infortainment system didn't handle artwork images...
