Correct size/offset rims and lowering springs

Hey, just a couple quick questions about the 2006 Mazda3 sedan:

1. I'm looking to get 18" rims with 225/40/18 rubber. I'll be getting 18x7.5 rotas and wanted to know which offset to go with, +45 or +48 and if rotas are hubcentric. I will be lowering my car 1.5-2 inches.

2. This leads me to my next question, which lowering springs will drop the car the lowest?

Thnx in advance

I believe the Eibach pro kit is the lowest. I think it is about 1.75. Or you could go with coilovers and drop it 2.0. I know Tien makes some. I am not too much of a wheel guy, but I think 48 is better. Stock offset I believe is like 52 of something. But I wouldn't take my word for it.

1. I am still reading contradictory posts about which offset is the best, when I buy I think I will go for 48.

2. Eibach Sportlines and Tein S-techs are the lowest springs I have read about. I think teins s-tech stats say they are lower than eibach sportlines, but I have read that some people claim the sportlines actually go lower than their stated drop.

sport lines are low as well as s techs... both are over 2" drop, and yes you want to get the highest offset possible as stock is 52mm.

not to thread jack, but what can spacers do for the wheel offset??? and am i correct in assuming that the closer to the oe 52 offset the better, but what offset would be the lowest you could safely go? thanks for any help...my car has an eibach prokit on it by the way
