I'm gonna need to check one out for myself. My buddy has a catless, wide open exhaust on his IS, and you can't smell anything at all in the car, even when sitting there at idle. When you get out, thats a whole 'nother story, but if its not bad in the car, then *shrug*.

Thats what the vendors say quite a few customers have experienced...
Call PG, CP-E, etc...
I remember my Miata was pretty bad with fumes, the more miles the engine had, the worse it got. I've smelled a MS3 with the CS package and the fumes were strong in my opinion...easy to believe since this car runs so rich.
Its your call... Its really just a matter of preference...

I have experienced a small pop (out the exhaust; Fast and Furious flames (ricer)??) at 6K rpm during WOT following by shifting... My car runs perfectly with my DP...

Where are you located? Remember, I have the DP with the stock CBE right now. In Feb, I'll have the CS CBE installed...
What are you interested in hearing? The DP only with stock CBE or a full TBE?
Mine only got slightly louder with the DP... It now slightly burbles, and occasionally pops at 6K if I shift right on target...still trying to replicate it... (lol2)
The main increase in sound is at idle...then everything else is pretty much the same; my girlfriend can confirm this... (lol2)

I've also heard good this about the corksport. Freaked me out the first time it made that loud backfire sound from having no cats.

Looking over Corksports exhaust options...it seems like a well done system...perhaps they should offer a midpipe with a highflow cat, for the folks that dont want to go completely catless.
The downpipe design looks great, i wouldnt want to mess with that, but since the midpipe is almost a straight piece, a highflow cat might be a well-placed option. People can then choose to go catless or catted and still have all corksport products.

Yea like I said not everyone is getting these problems as I only get em in cold weather and its fuel cut. A friend with only dp and tp but stock exhaust gets no problems either. My system has no cats and yea the backfire is pretty loud but only does it every once in a while, and then its either a flame or black smoke because the car runs so rich.

nah its got a deep tone to it as most turbo car's exhausts sound like. idling u can barely hear it but once ur on it people definately know its not a normal rice. since ive had the exhaust all ive gotten were compliments on the sound.
