CorkSport SS clutch lines.

well, when you get a clutch with a pressure plate that needs the force of god to open
the small hydrolic hose that connects to the clutch would expand before the clutch would disengage

so....yeah i dont see why you would really need one

This is the problem with the sub forums. This thread should help

ok maybe i'll help... once you step on the clutch pedal , pressure generates in the line(lets say 200psi) now all that pressure is the same until it reaches that little short rubber hose on the tranny (where that rubber hose expands under that pressure and losses some of the psi(lets say 20psi)) so only 180psi goes on the heavy duty pressure plate...once you change that line to braided one(which is a same rubber hose only its braided on the outside with stainless stell mesh) , the mesh wont allow the rubber to expand which in fact wil translate into same pressure traveling all the way down to pressure plate , which will make your pedal feel a lot better than the stock spongy one, your clutch will have a better reaction, etc...

Can you change out that hose from unde the hood. Or is it pretty hard. Also which hose do you suggest.

Yes, you change it from under the hood. With the airbox removed it is easy to see.

I was going to go take a picture right now, but my car is at the dyno shop.

It's not all that necessary unless you have a really high grip clutch and your rubber line is really old or corroded. I got one simply for looks and the price was right at 20.00 are protegefest. Otherwise I prob never would have gotten one

They were $15 at Protegefest, usually they are $18. ;)

I think I got mine for like $15...it's just part of my plan to upgrade all of the things that are lacking on the MSP.
