Did you try pulling the exhaust up towards the front a bit?

it wouldn't have helped, cuz i ran out of threads on the cat! it just couldn't suck up that tight is all the nuts were on all the way, but the bolts that come with the test pipe (which are not welded on like the stock guys) have full threads so it was able to pull my catback up towards the front.

i'm kinda disappointed that my test pipe didn't come with an 02 bung for a wideband like it says it does ftl

not to be a whiner or anything, but i ordered the testpipe thinking that it had an O2 bung already in it. i thought it was an awesome thing to have one there for a wideband, thats kinda why i paid $30 more for your test pipe rather than going with the cheaper turboXS 3" test pipe.

I know the DP are different from the 3 and 6 but Cork does make the best DP hands down! 21 WHP & 41 wtq. The XS TP fits perfect with no fitment issues on the 3....

ya i love the dp, ever since i got mine i've been racing with stage two wrx's..with no tune! lol so much more power, especially in 1st and 2nd...and third, etc. really only 21hp? i thought it was 38hp and 26ft-lbs? and thats only with an intake on their test car too.

it should have been welded in, you are not whining in any way. i did not even notice that when it was sent out. we can do one of two things - have one welded on there at my expense or send it here and i will weld one in for you. either way i'd like to take care of you.

well i appreciate the offer, but i am still pleased with the test pipe. the quality is great, fitment is perfect, power is awesome...i think i'll be okay lol.

but does anyone know how much it would cost to have one welded in? it can't be too bad

It's pretty cheap to weld in a bung - maybe $30 at the most. I've always used an old O2 sensor btw with the wiring cut off to screw in when not in use. The caps usuually rust and seize in there in no time.
