Coolant Catch Can

I'm using the straw method right now Victor. Seems to hold up fine. Thing in the long run I'd be better off feeding from the bottom?

I dont know. Like I said, I have been using the straw for over 6 months now, and had no problem. I will send you the bottom fitting and that way if you feel like you need it, you already have it. Remember that since this can is a lot smaller than the factory you might have an overrun for the first couple of heatups, then it should stabilize.

Well I did a 40 mile drive yesterday in 105 degree weather and then my 20 miles into work with no problems. I'm still keeping an eye on it.

Thanks Victor!

Ok, there is a little delay on the fitting shipping. I went to the post office and with a small cushioned enveloped it would have been almost $5 to ship. So now I got to go to work and have to wait till tomorrow to find a more reasonable shipping method.

You can cross me out. I don't need one.... I already have one that I picked up at the auto parts store. Like I said before it cost a whole 85 cents. ;)

Just ask to look at the brass L fittings. The one I have is made for fuel lines. Got mine at Autozone.

Receipt says: #896086 323308 BRASS FUEL FT 0.79 cents

Ok guys, here is the install pics. Unfortunately this will only help those of you with an Injen intake. I need to find a Protege without one in order to figure out a good mounting place. But it will give you the general idea of what it takes to install it. It took me around 40 minutes (playing around, and following my daughter thru the house) to do it. But is really not that hard, we just took are sweet time.
